Clear Braces

Dr. Taylor also offers clear braces. Clear braces are made of pure monocrystalline sapphire and are very translucent. They are very strong and do not stain.

Ceramic braces use less noticeable brackets for patients concerned about the appearance of their smile. Ceramic brackets are translucent, so they blend in with your natural tooth color. This means that unlike traditional stainless metal braces, ceramic braces won't give you that "metal mouth" look. Ceramic brackets are made of composite materials. They are very strong and generally do not stain. Dr. Taylor can let you know if you are a candidate for ceramic braces.
